The end of granola

The best bit of granola, rolled up. A snack on its own, or breakfast with yoghurt and fruit.

Nola started in a home kitchen in Queensland with one question: why does the best part of a bowl of granola, the crunchy clusters, always run out first?

So we made snacks that are only clusters. Rolled oats, almond butter and honey, pressed into balls about one and a half times the size of a Malteser, with whey protein so four of them make a proper snack. Then we made three flavours, because one was never going to be enough.

What we love most is that Nola works two ways. Straight from the bag, four balls are a snack that keeps you going until dinner. Add a few to a bowl of Greek yoghurt with banana, berries or mango and it becomes a proper breakfast or light meal, with crunchy granola, creamy yoghurt and fresh fruit in every spoonful. One bag covers your 3pm slump and tomorrow morning's brekkie.

How does the founder eat them?

"My favourite is straight from the freezer. They come out cold and chewy and honestly taste even better. When I grab a bag from the pantry, I add a few to a bowl of yoghurt with blueberries."

Three rules for every batch

Nothing fake

No artificial flavours. Chocolate tastes of chocolate because it is chocolate, and the berries are real fruit, freeze-dried.

Australian first

Up to 80% of our ingredients come from Australia, and the honey is local wherever we can get it.

Snack, not supplement

Nola is a snack for anywhere. Take a bag to the movies, pack four balls in a school lunchbox, or add them to a bowl of yoghurt and fruit for breakfast.

Nola gives back

Every bag gives back

We want Nola to do more than fill the gap between meals. So 10 cents from every bag we sell goes into a giving pot, and at the end of each month we donate the lot to charity.

We don't pick the charity on our own. Each month we put four options to the Nola crew, our newsletter subscribers and social followers, and the one with the most votes gets the pot. Every donation is listed on our charity page, so you can see exactly where the money goes.
